Supporting the Houston Botanic Garden after Hurricane Beryl

Our beloved Houston Botanic Garden - home of our signature event, Nia in the Garden - sustained damage during the recent hurricane.

If you are interested in helping with the clean-up, consider registering to be a garden volunteer. Though it will be hot, the garden always offers a rooting and calming experience! Digging in the dirt, not your cup of tea? Consider making a donation or becoming a member instead, to maintain and grow the garden as a unique place in Houston for discovery, celebration, and connection.

And the Houston Botanic Garden is back to full power as of Thursday afternoon, July 11, and they are moving forward with plans for 713 Day on Saturday, the official re-opening after Beryl!

In recognition of this special day for highlighting all of the things Houstonians love most about life in the Bayou City, the Garden will offer discounted entry of just $7.13 per person all day long on Saturday, July 13. That’s a savings of more than 40% off our usual weekend general admission prices for a family of four with two children between the ages of 3-15.

Even better, since 713 Day falls on one of our Summer Saturdays with extended hours, the savings are available from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. And, the discounted rate also applies toward admission to a special Birding 101 presentation and bird bingo with our friends from Houston Audubon, beginning at 6 p.m. on July 13.
