The Nia Technique is healing fitness for body, mind, spirit and emotions. Nia draws from the wisdom of dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts like yoga. With rhythmic movement and music, Nia makes fitness fun and healing! Watch and see for yourself!
Our workshop includes a 45-minute class. Current students with class passes may use their class pass to attend. For new students, tickets are available on Eventbrite.
In this Workshop, you will:
discover Nia’s key principles so that you begin to feel at home in your body
enjoy easy-to-learn moves for fun in an inviting and accepting community
reconnect to your inner child and learn to play again
experience the healing power of dance so that you feel better than before.
We will spend time getting to know each other before developing or deepening your understanding of Nia principles and philosophy. Before jumping into a class experience, we will take you through some key moves of the routine to ensure your comfort and safety.
