NiaTeachers Make “Her-story”

Congratulations to Nia Black Belt Instructor Yvonne Myles (pictured second row from top, center) for her part in raising $9,500 in the first-ever Nia jam celebrating women’s health. Led by 13 Black teachers of Nia, the national Nia Jam involved the support of more than 260 people dancing online to benefit the Black Women’s Health Imperative, an organization whose mission is to improve the wellbeing of Black women and girls, and remove real and existing barriers to quality health care. Yvonne also served as the emcee for the event!
