Nia Jam Rescheduled - 2/13/2022

Dear Dancers,

YOU are invited to our pre-Valentine’s Compassion Jam! Come move and be moved dancing to a fantastic playlist, guided with love by your Houston Nia Collective teachers.

Our focus will be Compassion, with the intent to open our Hearts.

When?

2:00pm Sunday February 13th

Where?

Studio NiaMoves, 508 Pecore St. and on Facebook Live (HTX Nia Class group)

The Heart Chakra is about giving and receiving love, our ability to be open and present with people, and our ability to feel connected and at ease with people. It is represented by the color green, but feel free to dress in your favorite colors, with perhaps a splash of red for Love.

The proceeds from the Jam will be used to assist Darryl Perkins’ family. Darryl is one of the custodial staff at NiaMoves, working hard to keep our studio spick and span and especially our beautiful floor. He recently lost his brother in a tragic accident and HNC is contributing to funeral expenses. Given the numbers we expect at the Jam, we will require masks to be worn upon entry. We hope for some pretty weather so that we can socialize afterwards on the deck.
